GeForce GTX 650 Black Edition works at 1,202 MHz, has a special cooler

The GeForce GTX 650 graphics card is different from most of NVIDIA's 600-series adapters in that it lacks the GPU Boost technology.

That means that it cannot overclock itself according to application requirements.

This doesn't mean that its GPU can't be overclocked straight from the factory though.

Like Leadtek, Club3D and others before it, Galaxy Tech has proven this. Its GeForce GTX 650 black edition features a clock speed of 1,202 MHz, the highest so far. The 1 GB of GDDR5 VRAM sticks to 5 GHz though.

Buyers will notice that GeForce GTX 650 Black edition has a design different from the reference. There is a custom cooler with a removable shroud and even a 3+1 phase VRM.

Sales are underway only in China right now, but we hope that other regions will get it soon. The price is $139.99 / 107 Euro but, since exchange rates don't usually matter, the real tags will probably be of $150 / 150 Euro.
