Today is the day Nvidia officially launches its GTX 650 and GTX 660 video cards and its traditional ad in board (AIB) partner, Chinese company Galaxy Tech is presenting a factory overclocked GTX 660 graphics adapter.

The official denomination of the new modes is Galaxy GeForce GTX 660 GC and this card comes with the new GK106 GPU featuring 960 CUDA cores working at a high 1006 MHz.

This means that Galaxy’s GTX 660 GC video card comes with a slight factory overclock as the reference frequency recommended by Nvidia is 980 MHz.

The 2GB of GDDR5 memory work at the same 6008 MHz effective frequency while the card has a rather big cooling system featuring copper heatpipes and two fans.
