Since the official announcement of NVIDIA's latest video card is just around the corner, it is no longer surprising to stumble over information on custom models, like Galaxy's own pair, which were pictured just recently.
NVIDIA already has the GeForce GTX 580 and GTX 570 on sale, them being its high-end GF110-based graphics cards.
The GTX 560 will be the first mainstream model in the series, although, true enough, only the users on the higher level of that market, the performance segment as it were, will afford it.
Regardless, its formal introduction is not far off now, and Galaxy has been revealed to have completed two such models.
They
are dubbed GTX 560 Ti GC Version and GTX 560 Ti White Edition, both featuring higher clocks than usual.
The White Edition, named such because of the white PCB, is the mightier of the two, featuring clock speeds of 950 MHz for the GPU (graphics processing unit) and 4,400 MHz for the 1 GB of GDDR5.
For the sake of comparison, the stock board is, according to what reports have so far revealed, set to work at 822 MHz and 4,000 MHz, respectively.
Galaxy's White Edition also comes with an 8-pin connector and a 6-pin one, instead of two 6-pin plugs, as well as a single-fan cooler with four heatpipes.
The GTX 560 Ti GC stays closer to the norm, but while its memory frequency is the reference one, the graphics processor operates at 835 MHz. Its cooler has two fans and three copper heatpipes.
The rest of the feature set is the same on either sibling, including the 384 CUDA cores, the 256-bit memory interface and the video output options (at least two DVI ports and HDMI).
The GF114-based Galaxy GTX 560 Ti GC Version and the GTX 560 Ti White Edition should be launched on January 25, but their exact prices are still unknown.
