Well-known video card manufacturer Gainward is apparently preparing another factory overclocked GeForce GTX 670 graphics adapter based on Nvidia’s powerful “Kepler” GPU. The new product will feature a full blown GeForce GTX 680 printed circuit board (PCB).

Using a GeForce GTX 680 PCB blesses the GTX 670 GPU with a more powerful 4+2 phases VRM and thus allows for higher overclocks than those possible with the reference Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 video card design.

The PCB and the general design of the product is reportedly not oriented towards extreme overclocking as only two 6-pin power connectors are provided, but the GPU clocks are already at the GTX 680 default level.

Therefore, Gainward’s new GeForce GTX 670 card is clocked at 1006 MHz base GPU frequency with a 1058 Mhz boost and 1502 MHz for the GDDR5 memory.

Pricing is slated at about $500 dollars and that’s about 400 EUR for the European buyers, but Gainward also includes a pair of Nvidia 3D Vision glasses in the package.
