Time Magazine has published the Gadget of the Year 2006 top list where they carefully tested gadgets from every company and from every field of use. Apple's MacBook Pro and Nike iPod Sport Kit are no.3 and 6, respectively, but this is not the final decree. This is just a mere list of the gadgets that deserve to be in this top; the actual rankings will be determined by the users all around the world by voting on Time's website. About the Apple MacBook, Wilson Rothman - the one that made the gadgets reviews- wrote: This 'iMac on wheels' has built-in iSight camera and remote for Front Row media manager. It features illuminated keyboard and brighter screen plus magnetic breakaway power cord. With the Intel Core Duo it's easy to watch the highest-definition QuickTime movie trailers. The Nike iPod Sports Kit, on the other hand, is described as it follows: This tiny runner's aid measures your pace from inside a specially designed shoe. Data streams to your iPod Nano which keeps time and calculates caloric burn. Select a distance or time for your workout (plus music) and a voice prompts you at intervals and when you're done you dock and upload the data and track your performance. Set goals for yourself or challenge others. Battery lasts about 1,000 hours -- that's an hour a day for nearly three years. Among Apple's gadgets, the list contains another 6 top products that certainly make our lives better. First on the list made by Times MagazineThe is the Logitech VX Revolution Mouse, and the list continues with: Sanyo HD1 Digital Media Camera, Apple MacBook Pro, Nintendo DS Lite, Logitech Wireless DJ Music System, Music System remote from Logitech, Nike iPod Sport Kit, Garmin StreetPilot c550 and the Palm Treo 700w. With the votes submitted until now, the MacBook Pro seems to be the favorite one with 44% of the votes and after the Nintendo DS Lite which is the second best favorite, is the Nike iPod Sport Kit with 8% of the votes. The problem is that they do not say exactly how many votes were submitted until now, so this "top 8 gadgets" can change from day to day.
