South Korean mobile phone maker LG has unveiled to the world a series of new handsets today, and journalists in Netherlands had the chance to take a look at them, but it seems that it is also working on a series of other devices, one of them being the LG GW370 Shannon, which has just been leaked into the wild. This handset comes with a touchscreen display and with side-sliding QWERTY keyboard, it seems, just as other recent devices from LG do.

The new LG GW370 Shannon resembles a little with the KS360, as well as with the LG KS365, a handset that was showcased by LG today. Among the known features of the phone, we can count the resistive touchscreen, trackball and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as a microSD memory card slot with support for additional storage space. Unfortunately, no info on when the device becomes available has emerged so far.

As for the phones that were unveiled by LG today, the list includes the LG KS365, the LG GT405, the LG GT400 Viewty Smile, as well as the LG Pure and Jacquar 5. The first of them comes with a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard, boasts a 2.4-inch touchscreen display, a 2-megapixel photo snapper and stereo FM radio, while proving itself as the successor of the popular LG KS360.

LG GT405 is said to be a multimedia capable device that boasts a touchscreen display and LG's S-Class UI, as well as a 5-megapixel camera, and it also comes with 3G connectivity on board. LG GT400 Viewty Smile sports about the same capabilities as LG GT405, but is expected to sport a lower price tag when launched on the market.

LG Pure delivers a sleek design, a 5-megapixel camera and 3G connectivity with HSDPA support, and it might also include LG's user interface. As for Jacquar 5, it is expected to arrive as a cheap phone, which will include a VGA camera, microSD card slot and MP3 player. Unfortunately, no info on when the phones will land on the market emerged, nor on the price tags they might feature.
