The premier GNOME conference will be held in Brno, Czech Republic

The GNOME Foundation, through Fabiana Simões, announced at the beginning of this month that the upcoming 14th GUADEC Conference for GNOME developers will take place in Brno, Czech Republic between 1-8 August.

Being sponsored by Google, Red Hat, Canonical, Collabora, and Igalia, this year's GUADEC Conference will start on August 1, and will end on August 8, 2013. The event will be held at the Brno University of Technology.

GUADEC is a great opportunity for free and open source software experts from all over the world to gather together and share their knowledge.

The event will have 4 core conference days with 40 talks, 4 keynotes, and a number of lightning talk sessions, and 3 days of working events and hacking sessions, which will give the GNOME developers an opportunity to improve the GNOME desktop environment.
