Following up on the footsteps of its GTX 480 iChill graphics card, Inno3D has just made official the iChill Back Series GeForce GTX 580 that will come with an improved water cooling setup while still providing its users with the cool and silent operation associated with such solutions.

Much like the iChill version of the GTX 480 before it, this will also come as a ready to go solution, although this time Inno3D has decided to bundle the card with a radiator and pump unit (which bears an eerie resemblance with Corsair's H50 CPU water-cooling solution) that should make this a lot easier to install even by novice users.

Unfortunately, Inno3D has not provided us with any further information regarding the cooling power of its setup or about the GPU and memory clocks this card runs at, further information being set to make its appearance at a later date.

However, considering the 244W TDP of the GTX 580, I don't expect Inno3D's solution to do an impressive job at cooling this thing, so it’s possible that overclocking will be limited by the high temperatures reached, especially when the core gets a bump in voltage.

If this turns out to be true, Inno3D's GTX 580 King graphic card should prove to be a much better option for those users that seek a quiet computing experience, more than for overclockers and gamers.

According to Expreview, this card should be listed on Inno3D's sometimes this month, additional information being available when this happens.

Pricing hasn't been revealed as well, although I expect this to carry a hefty price premium when compared to other GTX 580 solutions, the previous iChill GTX 480 being sold for $150 more than other cards based on the same GPU.

Before starting to add up to how much this will take you exactly, please bear in mind the GTX 480 iChill came only with a water-cooling block, the GTX 580 Back Series also featuring a radiator and pump unit which are definitely going to raise the price even more.
