GTK+, a multi-platform toolkit for creating graphical user interfaces that provide a complete set of widgets, suitable for projects ranging from small one-off tools to complete application suites, is now at version 3.9.12.

According to the developers, GTK+ 3.9.12 incorporates new features and quite a few updates. This is now a development version and is part of the GNOME 3.9.x package.

Highlights of GTK+ 3.9.12:

• GtkInfoBar now uses a GtkRevealer internally to slide in place. This means that it's no longer necessary to do this manually; • GtkHeaderBar can now add a window close button; • The fine adjustment mode for scrolling has been improved and it's easier to find; • GtkIconTheme now supports 2x scaled icons for hi-dpi displays. • Wayland and X11 clipboard implementations are now working properly.

A complete changelog, featuring all the updates and fixes, can be found in the official announcement. Download GTK+ 3.9.12 right now from Softpedia.

Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
