Video game developer Rockstar is announcing that it is launching an entirely new title update for Grand Theft Auto V, which is designed to improve the overall stability of the Online mode of the game while also introducing a range of other smaller changes for both the multiplayer mode and the story experience.

The official site states that the changes are at the moment live on the PlayStation 4 and the PS3 from Sony and that it will only be offered on the Xbox One and the Xbox 360 as soon as possible, which probably means once Microsoft has pushed it through the official certification process.

It's unclear what the stability issues that affected GTA V were and it would have been nice to see the development team at Rockstar offering some more information about the changes that it is making to the mechanics of the title.

As it stands now, gamers will have to deal into the features for both Online and story modes to see exactly what the tweaks made by the studio were.

Rockstar has said that it is continuing to listen to the feedback that's coming from the player community in order to get a better idea of the state of the game and will use the data in order to make sure that quality improves in the coming weeks and months.

GTA V Online is now offering Heists and more PvP activities

The new update probably deals with a range of problems that were noticed when the new Heists update for GTA V Online went live on March 10.

Gamers are now able to experience five new complex missions which involved a lot of planning but also offer some solid rewards for those who are able to accomplish them.

Gamers are also able to get access to new Player versus Player activities, designed to introduce special rules and exciting gameplay moments.

All this content will also be included in the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V, which will be launched on April 12.

Rockstar says that it has long-term plans to add more content for the open world title in the coming months while also offering gamers ways to create their own missions, based on entirely new ideas or on previous titles in the franchise.
