Grand Theft Auto V has finally arrived on PCs recently, but it's no secret that those with older computers and low-end hardware configurations can't play it because of the rather high system requirements.

But thanks to a brand new mod, GTA V can now be played not only on lower-end computers but also on Microsoft Surface tablets, with its creator claiming that the game runs flawlessly on the Surface Pro 2.

On the Surface Pro 2, the game runs at 30 FPS+, the developer of this mod shows, and reaches 35 FPS when played with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels, with textures at maximum, FXAA and shadows enabled, reflection quality set to high, and AnisotropicFiltering at 8x.

Microsoft's Surface Pro 2 comes with a 10.6-inch screen and a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, 4 GB or 8 GB of RAM (depending on the model you buy), a 4th generation Intel Core i5 processor, the full version of Windows 8.1 Pro and a USB 3.0 port for plugging in a mouse or USB keyboard.
