Video game publisher Take Two is revealing that its recent Grand Theft Auto V has managed to ship 32.5 million copies to retailers since it was launched, most of which have already been picked up by gamers.

The company has reported a big increase in its yearly revenue, which has reached 1.86 billion dollars (1.4 billion Euro), according to VG247.

Take Two says that it is improving its financial expectations for the current fiscal year and that the most important titles it has launched in the past 12 months include GTA 5, NBA 2K14 and WWE 2K14.

The publisher says that the new Online mode for its open world hit is also very successful and that many players are sticking with it in the long term despite the initial problems it has faced.

Rockstar has said that more content for GTA V, both in the single-player and multiplayer versions, is currently being developed.
