The scandal about Hot Coffee, the mod that unlocked the sex scenes from GTA San Andreas, is finally over.
After the senators' countless debates over the issue "were the sex scenes put by Rockstar on purpose?", the fiercest of them being Hillary Clinton, GTA San Andreas will return on the shelves on September 29.
For those who've missed the scandal because they were too busy playing the original version of GTA San Andreas, we remind them that ESRB has changed the initial rating to
Adults Only and that Rockstar, instead of printing thousands of labels in order to sell the game, preferred to launch a new version.
The new one will be just in time for the holiday season, and who knows, perhaps it will help Rockstar to recover some of the losses caused by the scandal.
Although the GTA San Andreas problem seems to be solved, Rockstar could face a new scandal, because of Bully. When the company was being investigated over GTA San Andreas, there were even some protest rallies asking for the banning of Bully.
Bully, a game developed by Rockstar Vancouver, was announced for Play Station 2 and Xbox in October, but was postponed until 2006.
