14 DAY TRIAL // When the new Heists update for Grand Theft Auto V Online was released, one of the most interesting missions was the one focused on Humane Labs, which featured an aircraft carrier that many members of the community were hoping that they would also be able to access in the Free Mode for the title.
But a player who previously revealed other details about future content associated with the title has posted a message from the development team at Rockstar, which suggests that there are no plans to make the new location available for all players to visit at will.
The studio has not delivered a full official response to the information so far, but if the player base continues to ask for an aircraft carrier location, they might get access to it at a later date.
Rockstar has already said that it plans to continue to introduce new content for the Online side of GTA V for a long time and that it will also add more tools with the community in order to make sure that it can create its own missions and events, creating a degree of independence from the actual developers.
An aircraft carrier is a massive undertaking for the development team as it might remain tied to the heist for a period in order to make sure that as many players as possible try out the new content.
GTA V might also get a full single-player expansion this year
At the moment, the creative power of Rockstar is focused on the Online mode, which has been very popular with the player community since it was introduced with GTA V.
Since 2014, rumors have appeared that the studio is also working on an entirely new single-player campaign, which will be focused on a new character and will expand the locations that can be visited.
Rockstar has not officially confirmed that it aims to introduce major downloadable content for the single-player of its open-world title or if it only wants to work on more multiplayer content.
An announcement might be made in the coming months and the company has time to actually launch the DLC on all platforms before the end of 2015.
