The development team at Rockstar is following up on the launch of the San Andreas Flight School content for Grand Theft Auto Online by delivering a new massive event for fans of the title, who can take part in a number of interesting activities starting today and until August 24.

During the weekend, gamers can unlock a new exclusive High Flyer Parachute Pack by competing in the Flight School Event Playlist, completing it, and then going to Ammu-Nation in order to pick it up.

The events that can lead to the above-mentioned reward also carry both double the Reputation Points and double the monetary rewards for the three-day period, which means that gamers can increase the quality of the items that their characters carry faster than usual.

The official announcement also says, “Time to put those aviation skills that you honed at the San Andreas Flight School to test in the field and earn double GTA$ in all Air Races and Parachute Jumps. That includes a batch of new Rockstar-Created Jobs published this week specifically for the new aircraft in the San Andreas Flight School Update, plus new Parachute Jumps designed to make use of the new reserve 'chute.”

During the San Andreas Flight School weekend for GTA Online, gamers also get a 25% price cut for some of the most expensive properties in the world of the title, and there are also free location services for planes and helicopters.

Special Crate Drops created by Rockstar will include more money, extra reputation points, miniguns, stick bombs, and RPGs.

As for all other weekend events, the studio is also running a Snapmatic contest for all those involved.

Rockstar states, “We're looking for your most inspiring and amusing pictures featuring the new content in The San Andreas Flight School in the #FLIGHTSCHOOL Snapmatic contest. Our favorite five will each win their authors GTA$ 1M and a MILEHIGH vanity license plate for their in-game vehicles, plus they'll be featured right here on the Newswire.”

Fans of GTA Online can also create their own jobs based on San Andreas Flight School Content and submit them in order have them featured in the game at a later date.

Finally, Rockstar is running sweepstakes with a variety of prizes and gamers can enter via their Social Club account.

In the coming weeks, the community is expecting the company to offer more details on the delayed Heists DLC, which is supposed to add a variety of cooperative missions.
