14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Rockstar announces that it is adding 16 new verified jobs to Grand Theft Auto Online, allowing gamers to experience new events that are designed to take advantage of the content that was introduced in the major San Andreas Flight School update for the open world multiplayer experience.
The official announcement also says that gamers can enjoy a new playlist for the title, based on the same new content.
Rockstar explains that "This special Playlist will award you Double RP all week long - and for those who may have been unable to unlock the exclusive 'High Flyer' Parachute Pack as part of our recent Event Weekend, we're making that available to all who play through this new Playlist to completion. Read on below for descriptions of these new Jobs and remember boys, no points for second place."
Two new Contact Missions are now offered: Chop Chop, which involves the destruction of helicopters, and Effin' Lazers, linked to some fighter jet battles on the outskirts of the game world.
Rockstar is also introducing new missions using race, capture and parachute jump mechanics, with all their names and details offered on the official site.
Players who are engaged with GTA Online are at the moment awaiting more information about the Heists update, which was supposed to be introduced during the spring and should include a range of complex missions that can be played cooperatively.
There are also rumors that Rockstar is exploring a number of interesting themes for downloadable content, including a zombie invasion and the addition of military forces and casinos.
Since the GTA Online experience was introduced, the development team has explained that it will offer some content created in-house while also giving the player community all the tools they need in order to create their own missions and events.
Meanwhile, Rockstar and publisher Take Two might soon have to make an official announcement about the launch date of the core GTA V experience on the PC, the PlayStation 4 from Sony and the Xbox One from Microsoft.
The most recent rumors are saying that United Kingdom gamers might get the open world title on November 14 and those in the United States will have to wait until November 18.
The new version of the title will include upgraded graphics, a better looking world and a range of updates to the way musical stations are set up.
