The development team at Rockstar working on Grand Theft Auto Online is launching a set of 10 new verified jobs, which have been created by the fan community and have been scrutinized by the studio to make sure that they are up to the standard of its own content.

Gamers will be able to enjoy deathmatch events, some races that are designed for drifting that include vehicles from the I’m Not a Hipster update and a complex capture job build around contraband that’s being stockpiled by hipster gangs.

The official site offers the full list of the included new verified jobs: Holy Drift Mouintain, Far Out Loop, the Maze Bank Fight, Hipster Happy Hour, Marios Race, Hold Shopping Spree, Quarantine, Obstacle What?, Battlesnake Run, Sonuva Beach.

Gamers who want to know exactly what each of them has to offer before taking part can also check out their descriptions and read reports from gamers who have already been involved with them.

As always, Rockstar states, “in addition to occasionally changing Job names due to taste, copyright or other reasons - we also from time to time will make other small edits to players' Jobs before making them Rockstar Verified. This includes, but is not limited to modifying spawn points, improving checkpoints or increasing/decreasing the amount of weapon picks ups for a particular Job.”

The verified jobs for GTA Online are offered on both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.

Rockstar also invites all those who have created interesting missions and events for the game to contact the studio in order to get them featured in the future.

The company has pledged to support GTA Online in the long term when the mode was introduced last year and that means introducing updates with new content at regular intervals, while also giving the community tools to create their own missions.

A Heist update is expected to be added before the end of summer on both platforms, adding complex missions for gamers to undertake using coop mechanics.

Grand Theft Auto V was recently revealed to be coming to the Xbox One from Microsoft, the PC and the PlayStation 4 from Sony at some point before the end of the year.

The new version of the open world game will introduce better textures, an increased draw distance, more traffic and upgraded weather effects and Rockstar is also promising that a replay editor will allow players to edit and upload gameplay clips easily.
