The images are new, but the message they deliver isn't

Don't get all excited, Rockstar hasn't revealed any new aspects about the upcoming game, nor do these new images depict anything (or anyone) new. It's just a bunch of unpolished screens from the latest GTA title in development, launching in 2008 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with the Xbox 360 version getting some additional episodic content.

A while ago, Rockstar confirmed that players will experience more freedom of choice, and more sense of control over their destiny, as GTA IV has a quite different storyline that can have any number of outcomes. The developers say that you'll be able to actually talk to people in person or by cell phones. There are going to be plenty of other ways to stay informed on what's going on in the game: "In previous GTA games you were like a slave because you had to constantly take orders from people when doing missions. There is still an element of that in GTA IV, but you can also choose how you want to spend your time," said the developers back in April, this year.

Also, there will be several animation variations for sneaking up to a car and breaking in. The way Niko enters the car is supposedly going to look different each time, depending on where and how he's related to the car. More than that, because of the NaturalMotion system used in the game, the way the character will approach a situation will never be the same twice. The player will also have access to the trunks of the cars.

The latest GTA IV trailer features some tough bitches (whom Niko will most likely have to face as the story unfolds), with every character in the game featuring incredibly catchy lines and superb voice acting. GTA IV emphasizes women more than other titles in the series, but the concept has remained the same.
