With Apple lifting the Digital Rights Management (DRM) system off iTunes content, Rockstar is now seeing the venue as the most appropriate place to sell the 150+ GTA IV songs on Liberty City's 19 radio stations.

The shift from Amazon doesn't mean any content will be lost. In fact, new tracks from artists including Busta Rhymes and Funkmaster Flex are to be included, complementing the "GTA IV" downloadable episode "The Lost and the Damned." iTunes is the No. 1 fee-based digital music venue, according to an Ipsos TEMPO Digital Music Brandscape study carried out in October, last year.

Grand Theft Auto IV is a sandbox-style action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North. As the ninth title in the Grand Theft Auto series, the game was preceded by Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and will be succeeded by Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.

Released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in Oceania, Europe and North America on April 29, 2008, and in Japan on October 30, 2008, GTA IV saw its Windows version released to the North American public on December 2, 2008, and in Europe on December 3. Unfortunately, a Mac version of the game is not available. Two DLC packs / episodes are being developed for the Xbox 360, the first of which is entitled The Lost and Damned and scheduled to be released later on this month.

GTA IV is set in a redesigned rendition of Liberty City, a fictional city based heavily on modern day New York City. The game revolves around Niko Bellic, a war veteran from an unspecified country in Eastern Europe who comes to the United States in search of the American Dream. However, he quickly becomes entangled in a seedy underworld of gangs, crime, and corruption – pretty much everything making up the GTA series.

GTA IV combines gameplay from driving games and third-person shooters with "open-world" features, giving players total control over their playing experience. GTA IV is also the first console game in the series to feature an online multiplayer mode.
