14 DAY TRIAL // The Grand Theft Auto franchise is one of the most popular video game series of all times. Ever since the first top-down titles, the games impressed with their innovative gameplay mechanics, memorable characters and, most importantly, the intricate stories that brought a real motivation for players to finish the adventures of the main character.
Recently there has been a lot of hype around the first DLC episode for Grand Theft Auto IV, entitled the Lost and Damned, which is now available on the Xbox Live Marketplace, but a lot of people forgot that the Rockstar Leeds studio is hard at work on the upcoming GTA Chinatown Wars title, which will appear exclusively on the Nintendo DS handheld console.
We've already posted a few things about the game, but nothing about the story, as its developers were very secretive about who the main character will be or if it will be tied to any of the previously released titles in the series. Now, the Rockstar team decided to release the first story trailer detailing the main plot of the game.
You will play as Huang Lee, who is on a typical mission to revenge his father's death and, in true Asian style, to restore the honor of his family by punishing those who dared to mock it. But his trip won't be easy, as the criminals found in the Chinatown neighborhood are extremely dangerous and will make a lot of trouble for him. The gameplay fragments in between the classic GTA-style artwork show a lot of fun things like running around while explosions happen at every step, in a very arcade manner as even Rockstar Leeds have said.
