The creator of the iCEnhancer mod for Grand Theft Auto 4, a special modification that transformed the old game into something much more impressive, promises to bring that same experience to the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 5 when it gets released on the PC platform, at the end of January.

Grand Theft Auto 5 seems to be following the same release pattern as the previous title in the series, GTA 4, as it already appeared on consoles like the PS3 and Xbox 360, at first, and then on the PS4 and Xbox One devices. However, just like the previous game, the PC version has been delayed by a few months, as Rockstar wants to perform some extra polishing on it.

GTA 5 is going to receive its own iCEnhancer mod

Now, one of the most popular mod creators for GTA 4 pledges his support for the upcoming GTA 5 on the PC, as the man behind the iCEnhancer tool, Hayssam Keilany, wants to bring different graphics presets to the game.

In case you're not familiar with iCEnhancer for GTA 4, the very popular mod allows owners of the game to customize the visuals and the graphics settings in many different ways, much more than what's possible inside the standard version of the title.

As such, some stellar results can be attained, effectively putting GTA 4, which came out in 2008, on the same visual quality level as recently released open-world games.

According to the modder, GTA 5 has already proven to be a great game, and other prestigious members of the modding community have already created tools that will make bringing iCEnhancer to the new title much easier.

"Yes, I will," he replied on Facebook when asked about modding GTA 5. "For a simple reason. It's a great game. Boris seems to work on a dx11 ENB, these other Russian guys like Alexander Blade and the rest already did a lot and the game is already moddable on consoles."

PC users will be able to make the game their own

The modder also emphasizes that a few graphics presets are already going to be implemented, so that PC users can alter the game to suit their own different tastes.

"We got to see what the PC will offer, It might not require much editing in terms of shaders and stuff but mostly artistic changes to fit everyone's taste. Expect to see dark, unsaturated, shiny cars preset and oversaturated, matte cars presets, etc. It's how things work, everyone have their own tastes. V is already pretty, soon we can make it prettier for our own vision. That's the magic of modding, make the game your own," he adds.

Rockstar hasn't revealed anything about an official support for mods for GTA 5 on the PC, but that hasn't stopped crafty users from tinkering with games in the past.
