Rockstar Games confirms the full changelog for the latest Festive Surprise update for Grand Theft Auto 5, aka patch 1.05 on PS4 and Xbox One, and patch 1.19 on PS3 and Xbox 360, revealing all the different new elements added to GTA 5's online multiplayer mode.

Tens of millions of fans eagerly awaited the release of GTA 5 last year across the PS3 and Xbox 360, and last month quite a lot of PS4 and Xbox One owners also flocked to get the game's new versions for their specific devices.

All of them awaited news about the first major update for the game, which was supposed to introduce online heists, but Rockstar disappointed them earlier this week when it revealed that the heists, due to their complexity, were set to appear in early 2015.

The Festive Surprise update is now live and has a changelog

However, in order to make it up to the legions of GTA 5 owners, the studio mentioned earlier today that the Festive Surprise update was available for download across the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms worldwide.

A few details have been revealed concerning the winter-themed content included in the patch, which takes the game up to version 1.19 on PS3 and Xbox 360, and to version 1.05 on PS4 and Xbox One. Now, the full changelog is available, via the official website, with Rockstar Games highlighting all the different additions, changes, and tweaks made to the game.

First up, of course, is the festive content that ranges from snow in the environment to free items like cars, clothes, and decorations, not to mention impressive weapons like the homing missile launcher and the proximity mine.

There are also new features, as players can now own a third property, which increases the potential ownership of up to 30 cars and 9 bicycles. Players can also find new settings for the deadzone and acceleration in the options menu, as well as an on and off toggle for the first-person mode auto level camera setting.

The patch also includes many gameplay fixes on new consoles

Of course, the new update also brings forth a lot of different bug fixes across the PS4 and Xbox One versions of GTA 5, which focus both on the expansive GTA Online multiplayer mode, but also on the story mode, where a few issues disturbed many players.
