Grand Theft Auto 5 has been out for almost two weeks now and has broken sales records both on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms, trumping other big games that appeared on even more platforms, like PC.

Seeing as how there are still a few days before Rockstar unleashes GTA Online, the multiplayer mode of the actual GTA 5 experience, we can only talk about the single-player story of the open world game.

This story introduced a lot of changes to the classic GTA formula, with the biggest being that there are now three main characters, namely Michael, Trevor, and Franklin.

We have already talked at large about the three protagonists, but now it's time to choose a favorite and for me it has to be Trevor.

While he was the last of the three heroes to be introduced by the story, he made the most impact, thanks to a very violent opening in which he had a serious confrontation with The Lost Motorcycle Club.

Shortly after that, his little sanctuary in Blaine County is slowly showcased to the player, ranging from Trevor's own company, Trevor Philips Industries, to his rivals in terms of meth dealing and organized crime.

As the story progresses, you can really see just how different Trevor is from the other two heroes, Michael and Franklin, and this anti-thesis will produce some heated arguments but also some hilarious dialog.

Trevor isn't a mindless criminal, however, as he's quite smart and manages to impress through some witty social commentary that riffs on American society as a whole.

Even dialog from his friends about him manages to impress and delight, such as Michael's whole argument that paints Trevor as a hipster.

Sure, Trevor might not be to everyone's liking due to his predilection for violence and his acts throughout the game, but he is the most entertaining character.

What about you? Who's your favorite protagonist from the three?
