It’s already common knowledge that most games and apps get released on Android and/or iOS platforms, and after a while they get ported on Window Phone operating system.

Moreover, while most games come for a price in Windows Phone Store, they are available for free on Android and sometime on iOS as well.

GT Racing 2, one of Gameloft’s games that is said to offer one of the most realistic racing simulation experiences, has been available on Android and iOS platforms for quite a while.

However, the French publisher and developer of mobile games promised Windows Phone fans that it would bring the title on their favorite platform as well.

True to its promise, Gameloft launched GT Racing 2 on Windows Phone back in June, and now the game is available for free via Store. Unfortunately, the game only worked on devices with at least 1GB of RAM inside.

The good news is WPCentral reports that the latest update that’s been pushed to Windows Phone Store brings support for 512MB devices. This means that those owning the Lumia 520 and Lumia 630, or any other Windows Phone handset that packs only 512MB of RAM, will be able to play the game.

You can now download GT Racing 2 for Windows Phone 1.2.2.5 for free via Windows Phone Store. The game should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 8 and up.
