GParted, a partition editor for creating, reorganizing, and deleting disk partitions wit the help of tools that allow managing filesystems, is now at version 0.11.0.

There are several key changes in this new version of GParted, including the ability to display volume labels on EXT2, EXT3, EXT4, NTFS, and BtrFS partitions, the possibility of adding labels for BtrFS partition, and the option to enable XFS copy function to a new smaller partition.

Last, but not least, Gparted Live CD 0.11.0-2, a bare-bones Linux distribution designed with a single purpose in mind, to get GParted working on the fly, has just been released, incorporating the same changes as the base application.

The complete changelog of GParted 0.11.0 can be found here.
