GPU-Z is a simple yet powerful application that can provide lots of details about your graphics card, while also offering options to monitor temperatures and used memory.

Thanks to an update released today, the app can finally work with even more video cards, including new releases from NVIDIA and AMD.

For example, version 0.7.9 adds support for NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 6 GB, GTX 860M, GTX 780M, GT 830M, GT 740, GT 730, GT 720, Quadro NVS 510, FX 380M, GRID K520, and Tesla K40c, while also working with AMD Tonga, AMD Radeon R9 M275X, FirePro W5100, and W9100.

At the same time, the new build also brings a number of bug fixes and improvements, including repairs specifically aimed at sensor graph drawings and over/underflow stats.

A number of users reported issues with fan speed monitoring on some recent AMD cards, but the developing team says that this particular problem has been repaired in this build, so make sure you download the new version if you’ve experienced such bugs.

Overall, there’s no doubt that today’s update is great news for power users who are looking to keep track of their video card’s performance, so go ahead and download GPU-Z 0.7.9 to get all the aforementioned improvements on your PC as well.
