U.S. Cellular has launched Your Navigator, a new application that enables customers to use their cell phones as a GPS navigation system. Your Navigator comes at a much lower price than the traditional GPS in-car systems and features turn-by-turn, voice-prompted directions with auto-rerouting in case you take a wrong turn or miss a turn. It can locate about 14 million points of interest all over the US,
including hotels, banks, ATM machines, restaurants, gas stations, landmarks and theaters. Besides the voice prompts, Your Navigator also displays turn arrows on your cell phone's screen, pointing the desired destination.

Alan D. Ferber, Chief Marketing Officer for U.S. Cellular, said: "Nothing can dampen a weekend getaway or important meeting faster than time lost to missed turns or wandering unfamiliar territory. Our customers can now receive audible turn-by-turn directions and find gas stations, restaurants, hotels and tourist attractions. Finding your way to new and unknown places just got a whole lot easier."

Your Navigator is powered by the Networks In Motion (NIM) location-based services platform and can help your trip planning by displaying colored and detailed maps for any US address, including your own location. The zoom and pan features are available, as well as easily accessing saved locations or recent location searches.

Doug Antone, President and Chief Executive Officer for Networks In Motion said: "Your Navigator is a very valuable solution for getting directions anytime, anywhere on a mobile phone, a device most people have with them everywhere they go. It's a fraction of the cost for all the navigation support you need compared to hundreds or thousands of dollars for an in-car navigation system or personal navigation device."

Your Navigator is available to all U.S. Cellular subscribers for $2.99 per day or $9.99 per month, depending on their needs (no long-term commitment is required). The service is currently compatible with two handsets from U. S. Cellular, the Kyocera 312 and the LG 245. Also, Motorola V3M users can have Your Navigator after a free software upgrade completed at any of U.S. Cellular's retail store.
