Today, GOM Media Player received a minor update, to build 2.1.49. The new release includes improvements, fixes and a couple of new options that increase overall usability of the application.

Starting this revision GOM supports 10bit AVC files (H.264 High 10 profile) and makes available a keyboard shortcut for opening the Snapshot Preview window (Ctrl+Q).

The developer solved the problem with the MPEG source filter not being able to recognize properly the frame rates and/or playback time for some TS and VOB files. Also, playback speed controls should work with all WMV files.

Users with more than one display were displayed a volume message when moving from one screen to another; this issue has been corrected in GOM Media Player 2.1.49.

Overall improvements in this version refer to FLV playback with internal filters, for certain MTS files as well as the seek function for H.264 videos (MP4, MKV, AVI).
