Digital distribution service GOG is launching a new Battle of the Games sale, which is designed to offer price cuts of up to 80 percent on a number of older titles, while also allowing all interested gamers to vote on the titles that will be offered tomorrow.

The star of the first day of the sale is the Heroes of Might & Magic turn-based strategy series, from the first to the third game, which can be obtained for under 10 dollars or Euro and allows gamers to experience both solid mechanics and an interesting fantasy-based story.

At the same time, players can pick up the first two titles in the Witcher series, allowing players to familiarize themselves with the character of Geralt and his adventures before CD Projekt launches the final part of the trilogy.

Blackguards is also part of today’s offer, bringing gamers a party-based role-playing experience with some interesting tactical battle mechanics.

For tomorrow, players can choose between a pack focused on the first two Red Faction titles and Chaser and another that includes Unreal in its various incarnations.

GOG has not said for how long it plans to run the new Battle of the Games promotion.
