GOG has launched its massive 2015 DRM-Free Summer Sale, and it's full of Linux games that can now be purchased at some ridiculous prices.

Ever since the GOG distribution platform started to offer Linux games, the number of titles in their collection has increased constantly. They started with just a few major ones, but they now have hundreds, and you can pick up a ton of them in this Summer Sale.

It's true that the Galaxy client developed by GOG doesn't have a Linux version just yet, but it'll be here sooner or later. It's not even stable, so Linux users will probably have to wait a while. In any case, this shouldn't stop anyone from getting some of the games that are available in the 2015 DRM-Free Summer Sale. Not all of titles in the sale have Linux support, but here are some of the highlights.

It's hard to choose from so many games

The word massive is perfect to describe the sheer number of games that can be purchased on the new GOG sale. It even takes a while to scroll all the way down the page, but we can see a few major titles here and there.

Grim Fandango Remastered is a remake of the original Grim Fandango, one of the the best point and click adventure games ever made. It's been available on the Linux platform for a while now, but it's one of those games that never get old, even if it was initially released back in 1998.

Apotheon is a new 2D action game that closely follows the art style of Greek mythology. It was released just a few months back, and it garnered a lot of appreciation from the community. It's a throwback to the glorious old days of 2D gaming, but with a modern looks and feel.

Trine 2: Complete Story is also a 2D action game, but it relies on a lot of puzzle solving and a powerful physics engine that will test your skills. It has a very nice story, and its makers are already working on a third part.

Costume Quest is yet another adventure game from the famous Double Fine Productions studio, which has been very Linux friendly in the past few years. Any game that you will choose from this studio is worth playing, so you can't really go wrong with Costume Quest.

Brütal Legend is also from Double Fine Productions, but this is an insane third-person action game like no other. It's an open world game that glorifies the world of rock, but with a side twist of crazy.

These games are just a few of the ones you will find on the GOG website.
