14 DAY TRIAL // 22cans is now offering “early access” to the company’s brand new GODUS game which puts players in the role of a god with a mission to attract followers and conquer other gods’ domains.
Priced at $14.99 (€11.03), the GODUS Steam Early Access key can be obtained from the Mac Game Store. According to the site, “if you buy this game now […] you will receive a key which you can redeem on Steam to get access to the GODUS via Early Access and download all subsequent updates.”
In a way, the game is like Minecraft, as it allows you to sculpt your land in any way you want. On this land your followers will settle and multiply, and eventually blossom into a full-blow civilization worshiping you.
Requirements include Mac OS X 10.7.5 or later, 2.2 GHz Intel processor, only 1GB of RAM and 1GB hard disk space, 512 MB video RAM, Steam and a Steam Account to play, as well as a broadband internet connection for actually downloading the title. Internet is also needed for multiplayer, of course.
