14 DAY TRIAL // Over the years, deities have many times showed up on apple skins, slices of toast, tree barks and whatnot. Still, most of these appearances were subject to interpretation, especially since the miraculous faces were rather blurry.
Apparently, there is one deity that has had enough of being ridiculed by folks who don't believe he has what it takes to make a proper appearance and show people what's what.
Without further ado, this deity is God, and the object he has most recently chosen to use to prove his existence is a common eggplant. The sliced eggplant pictured above, to be more precise.
According to Huffington Post, it was cook Jermarcus Brandy, who now works at Gino's Restaurant in the city of Baton Rouge in Louisiana, US, who found the word “GOD” spelled in seeds when he cut open the vegetable.
“I went back there and he was overwhelmed. I looked at it, we were just drawn back. We just couldn't believe what we were looking at,” restaurant owner Gino Marino has told the press in an interview.
“He's showing me that ‘hey, I'm real’ and that's the only thing I can depend on,” chef Jermarcus Brady, who is a very religious person, further comments on this fairly peculiar incident.
The chef says that, following his discovery, he is very much afraid to slice another eggplant. Hopefully, he will soon muster the courage to go back to chopping poor, defenseless vegetables.
