GNU Health, a free Health and Hospital Information System that features Electronic Medical Record (EMR), is now at version 1.4.3.

Luis Falcón, the author and main developer of GNU Health, has announced a new version of his software, featuring a lot of important changes, such as:

· Menus, icons and navigation were improved; · Neonatology and Pediatric Symptoms Checklist were integrated in Pediatrics menu; · The patient can be referred to by using  the social security number; · Admin rights for the main modules were created; · The patient medication history was improved; · Add patient lastname to summary of appointment event calendar; · The Database demo environment (with Proteus) was updated; · Patient lastname in the party tree view was added; · Some bugs were fixed.
