Mutter, a window and compositing manager that displays and manages your desktop via OpenGL, has reached version 3.13.2.

Owen Taylor has announced that Mutter 3.13.2 has been released, repairing several problems and bringing a few new features, and some of them are pretty interesting, to say the least.

According to the changelog, basic HiDPI support on Wayland has been added, a crash that occurred when monitors change during suspend has been fixed, mutter-launch has been replaced with logind integration, the window menu has been moved into the compositor, delayed focus-follows-mouse support has been added, the fallback app menu has been added in window decorations, and numerous other fixes and changes have been implemented.

Although it can be employed as a standalone product, it is primarily intended to be used as the display core of a larger system, such as GNOME Shell. It can be enhanced by plug-ins and it's utilized in conjunction with GNOME Shell. Regular users won’t have much use for the sources, but you can get them nonetheless.

Check the changelog for more details about this release. You can download Mutter 3.13.2 right now from Softpedia.

Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
