GNOME Shell, a user interface which provides functions for the GNOME 3 desktop environment, and the Mutter window and compositing manager that displays and manages your desktop via OpenGL, have both reached version 3.3.3.

GNOME Shell 3.3.3 comes with some interesting changes (a complete list can be found in the official announcement): the message tray only activates with a hot corner, the look of window captions in the overview has been improved, support for background-size CSS property has been added, and a crash in browser plugin, if the shell is not running, has been fixed.

Mutter 3.3.3 also has a number of important updates (a complete list can be found in the official announcement): keybindings for tiling to left or right have been added, GTK+'s hide-titlebar-when-maximized hint is now supported, and Clutter default stage is no longer used.

You can download GNOME Shell 3.3.3 and Mutter 3.3.3 right now from Softpedia.
