The latest version of GNOME Shell can be downloaded from Softpedia

GNOME Shell, a user interface that provides functions for the GNOME desktop environment, has just received its first update and is now at version 3.13.2.

This is the first update for GNOME Shell in the current 3.13.x development cycle, and its makers have made quite a few modifications to it.

According to the changelog, the airplane mode menu is now insensitive in the lock screen, the struts are no longer extended to the screen edge, keynav has been fixed for alternatives in AltSwitcher, and the window menus have been implemented in the shell.

Also, the resource:/// URLs are now supported in GNOME_SHELL_JS envvar, the switcher popups have been fixed the with keybindings that contain Escape, the extension-prefs UI has been updated in order to follow the GNOME 3 patterns, support has been added for the fallback app menu in the window decorations, keynav is no longer escaping opened app folders, and various other fixes have been implemented.

Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
