GNOME Shell, a user interface that provides functions for the GNOME desktop environment, has just received a new update and it's now at version 3.10 Beta 1.

The GNOME development is running smoothly and more features are added with each new version.

Highlights of GNOME Shell 3.10 Beta 1:

• A horizontal scrollbar is no longer shown on the lock screen; • The lock screen notification transitions has been animated; • Single digit minutes are now shown correctly; • A new aggregate status menu has been implemented; • Call notifications are now shown in busy mode.
