The third development release of the upcoming GNOME Settings Daemon 3.12 package, a daemon run by all GNOME sessions to provide live access to configuration settings and the changes done to them, is available for download and testing via our Linux section on Softpedia.

GNOME Settings Daemon 3.11.3 adds Bluetooth killswitch support, fixes "show battery" key handling, no longer autostarts the ModemManager application, improves per-device calibration notifications, and rotates OLED labels on left-handed setups.

Moreover, GNOME Settings Daemon 3.11.3 applies permissions for rfkill devices to the local user, skips the GSD_WACOM_SET_ALL_MONITORS function on the switch monitor pad action, and displays OSD when a device is remapped to a monitor via the pad bindings.

Download GNOME Settings Daemon 3.11.3 and keep in mind that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only. More details can be found in the raw changelog.
