The second and last Beta version of the upcoming GNOME Online Accounts 3.8 application, which is part of the GNOME 3.8 desktop upgrade, is available for download and testing.

There's only a single new feature implemented in GNOME Online Accounts 3.8 Beta 2, the SMTP/IMAP servers have been enabled by default.

Moreover, GNOME Online Accounts 3.8 Beta 2 fixes 'make distcheck' by updating the icon cache on uninstall, drops the EnsureCredentials notification, makes git.mk to ignore generated files, and does not send credentials before notifying users of an invalid SSL certificate.

Last but not least, the following translations have been updated in this second Beta release of the GNOME Online Accounts software: Aragonese, Assamese, Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong), Traditional Chinese (Taiwan), Czech, Greek, Gujarati, Hebrew, Norwegian Bokmal, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Slovenian and Vietnamese.

Download GNOME Online Accounts 3.8 Beta 2 (3.7.91) sources right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a beta release and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended to be used for testing purposes only.
