This release introduces various improvements and updated translations

The GNOME developers behind the GNOME Initial Setup software for the GNOME desktop environment, announced on January 14 the immediate availability for download and testing of GNOME Initial Setup 0.6.

GNOME Initial Setup 0.6 adds a new Keyboard Layout page, the Language and Account pages have been modified to match the new designs, the Network and GOA pages have been ported to the egg-list-box, the EULA pages no longer requires checkboxes by default, and the symbolic icons for assistant “previous” and “ next” buttons have been removed.

Download GNOME Initial Setup 0.6 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
