The GNOME developers announced yesterday, February 5, the immediate availability for download and testing of the GDM (GNOME Display Manager) 3.7.5 package, just in time for the 3.7.5 development release of the popular GNOME desktop environment.

GNOME Display Manager (GDM) 3.7.5 improves the RandR performance, it integrates better with the systemd journal, and uses the glib signal handling helpers.

Moreover, the GDM wrapper script has been removed, GIO modules are no longer loaded in launch environment, the GSD keyboard plugin is now enabled in launch environment, the pointer is no longer warped to 0,0 and a login UID is no longer recorded for GDM’s login session.

Download GNOME Display Manager 3.7.5 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
