The GNOME developers behind the GDM (GNOME Display Manager) software have announced a few days ago the immediate availability for download and testing of version 3.11.3 of the default login manager app for the GNOME desktop environment.

GNOME Display Manager 3.11.3 fixes the infinite loop issue, fixes PAM re-authentication issues, passes LC_ vars from system to user session, and requires debugging in order to be explicitly enabled in development versions.

Several translations have also been updated in GNOME Display Manager 3.11.3, which is the third development version towards GNOME Display Manager 3.12. For more details, please take a look at the official raw changelog. Download GNOME Display Manager 3.11.3 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
