This is the last maintenance release for GNOME 3.2

The GNOME Project proudly unleashed a few minutes ago, November 17th, the immediate availability for download of the second and last point release of the GNOME 3.2 desktop environment.

GNOME 3.2.2 brings fixes for many apps, including NetworkManager, Empathy, Eye of GNOME, Evolution Data Server, Glib2, GNOME Contacts, GNOME Control Center, GNOME Keyring, GNOME Settings Daemon, GTK+, Vino, Gucharmap, and others.

From now on, the GNOME developers will concentrate their efforts on the GNOME 3.4 series, starting with the upcoming GNOME 3.3.2 release, on November 23rd.

GNOME 3.4 development will continue with a GNOME 3.3.3 release (December 21st), GNOME 3.3.4 release (January 18th), GNOME 3.3.5 release (February 8th), GNOME 3.4 Beta 1 release (February 22nd), GNOME 3.4 Beta 2 release (March 7th), and GNOME 3.4 RC release (March 21st).

The final release of GNOME 3.4 will be available on March 28th, 2012, followed by the first point release on April 18th, GNOME 3.4.1.
