GNOME 3.12 will be officially released on March 26, 2014

While many of us are still enjoying the recently released GNOME 3.10 desktop environment, the GNOME developers are working hard on the next major version, GNOME 3.12, due for release in spring 2014.

GNOME 3.12 will include many new features, such as a full port to the Wayland display server, GNOME Software application, systemd support, support for Facebook photos in the GNOME Photos application, Zimbra integration, as well as a Videos application.

Without any further introduction, let's have a look at the release schedule for the upcoming GNOME 3.12 desktop environment:

October 30, 2013 - GNOME 3.11.1 November 20, 2013 - GNOME 3.11.2 December 18, 2013 - GNOME 3.11.3 January 15, 2014 - GNOME 3.11.4 February 5, 2014 - GNOME 3.11.5 February 19, 2014 - GNOME 3.12 Beta 1 March 5, 2014 - GNOME 3.12 Beta 2 March 19, 2014 - GNOME 3.12 Release Candidate March 26, 2014 - GNOME 3.12 Final release

This is the official GNOME 3.12 release schedule, as extracted from the GNOME Wiki. The final release will be closely followed by the first point release, GNOME 3.12.1, on April 16, 2014.
