14 DAY TRIAL // The GNOME developers behind the popular GLib library released a new stable version, which addresses a major issue and updates lots of translations.
GLib 2.36.4 is a stable release that fixes an issue with the EXT4 filesystem, which makes it unsafe to omit a call to fsync() when doing atomic replaces, as per g_file_set_contents().
GLib 2.36.4 also introduces various improvements for the win32 platform, as well as a patch for GNetworkMonitor, which failed to detect the network connection with some VPN configurations.
Last but not least, the following translations have been updated in this stable release of the GLib2 library: Assamese, Brazilian Portuguese, Catalan, Czech, Galician, German, Indonesian, Kannada, Lithuanian, Marathi, Polish, Punjabi, Russian, Serbian, Slovenian, and Spanish.
