The GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program), an application which can be used as a simple paint program or as an expert quality photo retouching program, is now at version 2.7.4.

There are several changes in GIMP 2.7.4 (a release in the unstable branch), some to the UI, others to the core and libgimp, and some general ones.

Highlight of  GIMP 2.7.4:

· A button to close image tabs has been introduces in single window mode; · The canvas items are now properly stacked; · Single-window-mode and multi-window-mode are now saved correctly in sessionrc; · The attachment of the floating selection when the gegl projection is enabled, has been fixed; · Motion hints are no longer used; · A basic paint dynamics PDB interface has been introduced; · Make git-version.h generation work in shallow git clones.
