GIGABYTE United Inc. has announced the launch of next generation graphics accelerators, the GV-N28-1GH-B and GV-N26-896H-B, aimed at delivering a superb, powerful and awesome gaming experience for users in Mumbai, India.

The world leading motherboard and graphics card manufacturer has designed the new
boards based on NVIDIA's latest graphics processors, the GTX 280 GPU for GV-N28-1GH-B, and the GTX 260 for GV-N26-896H-B.

The GV-N28-1GH-B graphics card is powered by 1 GB GDDR3 memory and 240 stream processors, while the GV-N26-896H-B features only 896MB GDDR3 and 192 stream processors.

Both next-generation Gigabyte cards feature CUDA (Compute Unified Device Architecture) Technology, which allows them to fully exploit the power of the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280 and GeForce GTX 260 graphics processor units. Beside that, NVIDIA's advanced LumenexT Engine Technology enables them to deliver a superior image quality and floating point accuracy at ultra-fast frame rates.

Both cards feature DirectX10 support, as well as the latest 16x Anti-aliasing Technology, which provides lightning fast, high-quality anti-aliasing up to 16x sample rates. When it comes to video transcoding, the cards offer up to 7x performance enhancement over traditional GPUs. More enhancements come with the 128-bit floating point High Dynamic Range (HDR) Lighting for realistic lighting effects, which is twice more effective than previous generations of cards. They are backed with solid, state-of-the-art drivers.

The company claims its latest graphics accelerators to feature the 3-way NVIDIA SLI Technology and 3-way AFR (Alternate Frame Rendering) make them the fastest gaming solutions under Windows Vista. The Shader Model 4.0 is fully supported by the latest Unified Shader architecture featured by the cards, allowing for the most realistic graphics to be delivered, along with some of the most advanced features for Windows Vista, including the full Aero Interface.

Users will be able to enjoy some of the most extreme gaming performance with these next-generation graphics accelerators that tend to have all the features needed packed inside.
