GFI Cloud, GFI Software's platform designed to allow small and mid-sized businesses to monitor their networks and make sure they’re protected against cyber threats – has been enhanced to include patch management functionality.

It’s well known that many cyberattacks exploit vulnerabilities that were patched by the vendor a long time ago. However, many organizations struggle to keep their software updated at all times.

The latest addition to GFI Cloud enables businesses to automate the patching process on all machines.

The patch management system can be purchased and used on its own to complement other security solutions, but the feature “comes into its own” as part of GFI Cloud.

“GFI now extends the power and capabilities of our enterprise-class, award-winning business and security solutions to a single platform where all of these capabilities can be easily accessed and managed in one place by even the smallest IT teams,” said Walter Scott, CEO of GFI Software.

“Patch management is the logical next step in the evolution of making GFI Cloud the only IT software platform a small or mid-sized business will need to manage the IT resources needed to support and protect their business.”
