Here's GA-P75-D3P (rev. 1.0), another board from Gigabyte, complementing the existing range of new-generation motherboards that can run with Intel's 3rd generation Core processors.

This motherboard is based on the B75 chipset and can accommodate both SandyBridge and IvyBridge CPUs, for no-nonsense flexibility when it comes to building a new system on a budget. If you're looking to get the absolute best performance from your new system, it's most likely to choose an IvyBridge processor and be able to clock your memory to 1600 MHz.

With 2nd generation Core CPUs, the max 32 GB of DDR3 the GA-P75-D3P (rev. 1.0) can handle will be running at speeds not exceeding 1333 MHz and with no support for the Extreme memory Profile modules.

The Gigabyte GA-P75-D3P is capable of running the Intel Small Business Advantage software suite and this makes it most suitable for building an office-network; small business owners will surely appreciate the power-saving routines, unattended backup, power on and off features.

Being a modern board destined to run great with modern technologies, the Gigabyte GA-P75-D3P comes with 6 GB/s SATA3 connectors and USB 3.0 ports. Too bad that Gigabyte has decided to keep the Nvidia fans out: there is no support for the SLI technology with the GA-P75-D3P and when it comes to multi-display graphics, AMD is the only way.

As for the rest, we should also mention the extended-life all-solid capacitors, better protection against power loss and surges, humidity, high temperatures and electrostatic currents; they all make for a more stable board, with better chances to serve you longer and deliver reliable performance.

You can now download the Gigabyte GA-P75-D3P (rev. 1.0) driver, BIOS and utilities for free.
