If you're interested in media, games and web based culture, then you should take a look at the shows G4 puts on. And now Microsoft is entering into a deal with G4 to bring the shows of the network to greater audience by making them available on the Xbox Live service for gamers.

"Code Monkeys" is an animated comedy show set in 1980's and follows the adventures of GameAvision, a company that is struggling to produce videogames in an age that does not understand them. The Xbox Live offering of the show will include a free sneak peek at the first episode of the second season.

"The Block" is an interesting reality series which follows the life of snowboarders that go around the world living large and also executing some of the most mind blowing tricks on slopes.

Last but not least, by any measure "Attack of the Show" is coming to the Xbox Live Video Store. It's probably the best known G4 show because it targets gamers directly with their in-depth coverage of gaming events and numerous game related guests. It is hosted by Kevin Pereira and Olivia Munn and brings a lot of humor to the world of technology and games. There will be even a special episode created exclusively for the Xbox Live.

G4 is also thinking of adding even more shows to Xbox Live, but much depends on the way the users of the Xbox service react to the initial shows. Seeing how they target the same audience as the core gamer demographic that uses an Xbox 360, the chances are pretty high that the partnership will be a success.

Neal Tiles, the president of G4 Networks, said that "G4 is a natural fit to be part of the Xbox LIVE community. Our young male audience spends more time interfacing with technology than any other network. This partnership underscores G4's commitment to bringing relevant and authentic content to young guys in more ways than ever before".
